Re: FM 2017: Reisen er belønning

Eek. Been a long time coming...

The board have given me one more chance but have set me a target in order to keep my job.

I'm fairly happy with that to be honest. The next five league fixtures are Watford A (20th, without a win all season lol), Palace H (13th), Newcastle H (11th), Chelsea A (7th), Swansea A (12th). 8 points from those fixtures is doable. It also hopefully lets me see out the January window. Krznar's yet to make his debut but I hope he'll make a big difference, and I have one exciting big-name signing in the works which is very nearly completed but just requires me to sell a deadwood player first to free up enough funds. The team then should imo be looking in much better shape.

And to be honest, if I can't get 8 points from those fixtures with a team I'm pretty happy with, then it's probably never going to pick up for Fritjof at Everton and I can't really argue with the sacking.

Oh of course.

To make matters I was the one who sold Menaj to Watford while I was at CSKA!

Honestly I'd sack me at this point. Just seems like a lost cause.

Still, though. 8 points now required from 4 games.

I think this is a great signing. Even if it comes too late to save me from the sack, it's bound to piss Liverpool fans off so entirely worthwhile.

A long overdue win..... but as it's in the FA Cup I don't think it means anything in terms of the target the board have set me.

Sterling looked good on his debut and got an assist.

Fucking hell this is painful!

Don't think I've ever been this bad at FM :mock:

To meet the board's target I now need to win all three of the next three games, including Chelsea away. Please just put me out of my misery :mock:

Delaying the inevitable! Prolonging the pain! Cruel!

Two wins from two now needed (although first we travel to Stoke for the FA Cup).

A deadline day impulse buy.

Coates:
- Has been pretty solid for Leicester
- Is a Yeovil SoF legend
- Is another former Liverpool player, lol
- Is according to my scouts better than any of my existing CBs

Oh no!!!

It's been coming for months and months and it's a bit of a relief. Not sure why nothing was working at Everton but it obviously wasn't going to change anytime soon.

A shame but there will be plenty more opportunities for Fritjof.

Quite insulted by the calibre of teams offering me interviews since my sacking - mostly Championship teams and weird European teams I haven't heard of. I know it went badly at Everton but my stock was pretty high a year ago and it's not that long since I was winning titles with CSKA.

I did fancy loading up some non-European leagues for something a bit different, but as they won't become available until they have a new season starting most won't appear until the end of the year. The A-League was due to appear mid-June but this kept making the game crash so I had to give up on that...

The first vacancy I've seen that's actually appealed is with Vitesse, so I've applied and attended an interview. Vitesse have surprisingly just won the Eredivisie but their manager's left to join Genk for some reason.
